Members of the North Carolina Homeowners Alliance and the Charlotte Regional REALTORS® Association know that we all benefit from strong relationships with our local elected officials. That’s why we are partnering to host Representative Chaz Beasley for a forum on homeowner issues on April 24 from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. This event is a great opportunity to meet your legislator, and I strongly encourage you to invite your neighbors and friends. We want to make this event a true homeownership forum.
The General Assembly is starting to set its priorities for this year, and homeowners deserve to be part of the discussion. We are holding this open forum so that attendees will have a chance to ask their legislators a few questions about issues at the General Assembly.
There are a wide range of issues at the General Assembly that have a direct impact on homeowners, including the mortgage interest deduction, orphaned roads, and transparency on insurance rates. So, please encourage homeowners to register and attend!
We will serve a full, hearty breakfast for attendees. The doors open at 8:15 a.m., the event starts promptly at 8:30 a.m., and it lasts until 9:30 a.m.
Space is limited and the event is free, so please RSVP today.
